Accommodation
We have negotiated the hotel rates in Dubai, close to The Gate District at DIFC. In order to take advantage of these rates, please contact the hotel directly, either through the website, email or phone number provided. For details please click here
Rooms are subject to availability, as are rates. November is a very busy time for hotels in Dubai so we advise that you book your hotel accommodation as early as possible. Extensions to the dates offered at the hotels can be agreed with the hotel directly. Where possible the hotels will accommodate your additional accommodation needs, but the rate will be dependent upon the prevailing rate for the time of year. Please note that room rates and terms and conditions vary from hotel to hotel.
Visas
The following nationalities can obtain a visit visa on arrival at Dubai International Airport. Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and Vatican City.
For all other nationalities, please contact your chosen hotel, who will be happy to help you with arranging a transit visa. Fees vary between hotels and a refundable deposit of AED5,000 (USD1260) is required to support each application. Visa charges will be non-refundable. Rates are subject to change by the local authorities without prior notice.
Visa requirements:
- All initial visa applications must be requested on client company letter-headed paper supported by a company stamp and countersigned by a Senior Executive of the company. This letter must clearly state the name of the guest(s) for whom the visa application is requested.
- Clear passport copies for each individual guest requesting a visa.
- Passport validity (passport expiry date) for each guest’s visa application should exceed 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE.
- Visa application form completed (to be provided by the hotel).
- Credit card details as guarantee for the visa.
All paperwork should be submitted 14 days before arrival. Visas will only be processed once all required documentation received and payment has been processed. The procedure will take up to four working days to execute.
Transfers
All hotels will provide a pre-booked transfer from Dubai International Airport to your chosen hotel for an extra fee. Please contact the hotel directly for further information.
Taxis are also readily available at Dubai International Airport. They are metered taxis and you will have to pay a AED20 (USD5.45) standing charge for coming from the airport as well as an optional AED4 (just over a dollar) in tolls depending on your route; this is in addition to your metered fair.

The dirham is pegged to the US dollar. USD1 = AED3.672.
